    Bob,

    Ta

Amazingly, it has been quite sunny in Hastings - especially surprising as the Bank Holidays are the harbingers of doom with respect to the weather here !

The Centre is shooting superbly - it really likes the JSB Match pellets

My Haenel 312 is continuing to baffle me

Unlike any 'springer' I have ever had, it shoots its best groups with a 'death-grip hold', both on grip, fore-end, and cheek-pressure, as well as shooting best with 10.3 gr. pellets !! Thinks its a PCP does it !! ?

It has had the entirety of its innards replaced, and still the accuracy is not quite there - my Hatsan 55S shoots smaller groups

I will give the '312s barrel a 'scary' cleaning today, and see if that brings any improvements.

Have fun & a good weekend

    Best regards

    Russ

    Hello to All,

    Scores updated Monday, 20190527.

As I have said before, if Rob can score 273, with a recoiling sporter 'springer', and a knackered shoulder, God help us all !!

Have fun & a good Bank Holiday

    Best regards

Not too late to enter this one - only 36 targets to shoot before the last day in June - EASY!

The next MPL will start 1st July and run until the last day in December.

    Hello to All,

As an aside, I found the cause of the crap shooting of my Haenel 312.

The barrel was full of rust

Hard rust - it did not show up on a pull-through.

I had at the barrel with some JB Bore Paste and VFG felts on a rod, and F3ck me the amount of rust that came out was depressing

The rifle shoots a lot better now !

    Have fun

    Best regards

Not shot a pistol since my shoulder injury, but decided to try a couple of cards today, i printed off the craftygeek one's, which have 12 targets on. So after a few sighting shots on 2 of the targets, i shot the other 10, & managed to score 2 41's, quite happy with that !.

Pitol is a hw40, using hobby pellets.

    Rob,

I use an anglepoise light I got from TKMax to illuminate the target.

It was quite in-expensive, and with some 'white' light high intensity bulbs, it works nicely

    Have fun

    Best regards

    Russ
