Hello all, new to the group but heard about this meeting before and would really like to come along. Do I need to know, or do anything or is it just pay up and turn up. Can only do the Sunday though

Hi Adrian and welcome to the BBS. If you’re just coming for the Sunday then just turn up, you can pay a tenner as per ‘instructions’ on page 1 of this thread or - Mick won’t mind if you pay him on the day. It’s a great event with a load of great people and guns. Now, the Sunday is very much the quietest day as people are heading back home but nonetheless enjoyable, Saturday tends to be the busiest with more people and more guns which everyone is happy for anyone to have a ‘play’ with. Once you’ve been - you will return again

and hopefully spend more than one day as the evenings/night around the fire are unsurpassable as a social event in itself

As Paul says above, just roll up --- I do prefer pre payment to judge numbers but quite a few folks pay on the day dependant on if they can make it or not.

There will definitely be cheeseburgers with black pudding on the menu as I've already stocked the deep freeze up.
