The Schimel brothers were brilliant guys in designing their CO2 pistols, still one of the best performer single shot pistols available for power and accuracy. Unfortunately they never had the wonderful materials we have available today to manufacture it. If I had a large lottery win, which is unlikely as I do not buy a ticket, I would revive the manufacture of these pistols with modern materials. Always impressed when I shoot mine.

Another vote for Webley,2006 was a sad end to what could have been.

The Bonehill Britannia was a sensible design. Was surprised when those guys tried to revive the early Webley rifle when the Britannia made more sense. A spring rifle with the compression chamber incorporated in the stock, reducing length.

If only the industry would listen. We want a British 12 ft-lbs break-barrel made to high standards of design, fit and finish, in a well-fitting, scope-appropriate, modern stock.

Who might make that? Has anyone made a prototype that fits that specification?
