Also, just wondering about some of the more popular 70s/80s icons......Original/RWS/Diana 45.
Feinwerkbau Sport. And that little hot head, the BSF B55.

Out of interest, the Diana 52 figures would be useful, too.

Plus Webley Longbow, Xocet BSA Supersport, Lightning, Mercury, Airsporter variants?

Will put a post on General Airgun to see if anyone can supply any further information for you to amend post #1, Bruce?

Is the webley Xocet the same as the stingray? I'd also be interested in the supersport info.
    Thanks andy

28mm bore, a whopping 100mm of stroke, UK spec guns can often have a crazy 2mm port reducer inside. My early .177 52 (1986) has a 3.6mm brass port in the 4mm hole I can't remember TP length, but it's quite short (5 or 6mm ish?) plus a couple of mm through the breech seal...

    HW 90 Stroke Update

Recently I stripped an earlyish gun (127xxxx serial no, around 1992/3 production) and also a later one (165xxxx, around 2005 production). The stroke of the 30mm diameter piston in the earlier rifle measured around 63mm, while that of the later gun came in at around 84mm. The piston mass for both was a portly 396g, while the inertia weight inside weighs around 73g.

Interesting stuff, Scrinja, I'd only ever known of the 90 using two different stroke lengths but now you've told us of a third --- could the 63mm stroke version be for the German market ?

I'll nip out and measure mine in a bit if it stops raining.

mine is about 80mm too, and we know the FAC is the longer. I think you might be right Mick - German 7 joule version.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

I wonder if the German power guns still use the F inside the pentagon mark to denote 7 joules version, Jon ?

To comply with German law they have to, if the gun is sold in Germany.

    Thank you, Arnie.

I was unsure if the mark was still used.

Are you sure HW 35 transfer port lengths are correct as the quoted length is about an inch?
