Welcome to the BBS, Stanimal --- and yes, six years would make you a longtime lurker.
I know Atherstone well as my grandmother used to have a sweet shop in the Marketplace.
All the best Mick
Hi Guys, been a member for quite a while but i can't get online as often as i'd like so just been lurking, i decided it's high time i participated and hopefully i can help pass on some of the knowledge I've acquired from this awesome forum and from my years of loving all things shooting related
I have various guns, Co2 pistols,Springers,Pcp's etc, my latest acquisition and my absolute favourite of all the guns i own is a Brocock Enigma .22 I purchased this from the very man that designed them, Robert Lane, fully tuned and regulated by himself, It's an absolute dream to shoot, feels amazing to hold and it's super accurate (more so than i am )
Anyway thanks for having me and a happy new year to all

Thanks Mick, i've lived here all my life so i more than likely visited your grandmothers shop at some point
I'm talking about the 1960s, but here's the shop to the right of Howkins and Harrison :-

If I remember correctly from left to right, Howkins was Bailiss' hairdressers, then my gran's shop, then came Johnsons the sadler.
All the best Mick
Ah probably not then, i didn't arrive until the mid 70's
