    Reminds me of a shameful incident that happened between my brother and Charlie at our school back in the ‘80s - for a legitimate (honestly - things were different back then!) reason my brother happened to have an air rifle at school on the day Charles visited. Foolishly my brother decided to get a closer look at him via his telescopic sight, unfortunately mounted on the rifle. Security rightly descended on him. Didn’t even get in the local rag. Another shooting friend had a M1 Garrand semi auto rifle, back when such things were legal, in a gun slip slung over his shoulder at one of the London train stations when Princess Anne was reopening it. Police asked him what it was, he explained why he had it and they then bade him a cheery farewell. Different times...
