    Cons are :
    * at their asking price they are getting into the league of proper S/H target guns, like FAS' & Tau's which are in a different league.
    * arguably the HW40 is just as capable for much less.
    * arguably the Gamo Compact is better.

Particularly the early Gamo Compact, which has an adjustable trigger that actually adjusts properly, unlike the later (post-2007) ones.

Problem is deciding which to shoot first.

Would you like me to ask around the club if anyone has an unwanted HW75 or 45? Let me know by pm or email.

Think I’ll hang fire for now as other pistols are up for consideration but I look forward to getting to the Club when the lockdown lifts to meet you guys and discuss the issue.
Thanks for the kind offer !

The 75 sits way too high to be a competent target pistol. It's a superb high end plinker though; now doubt about that. I would recommend you save up whilst trying to find a good, recently serviced FAS 604 mk2

    A most handsome pair, sir.

    I have a HW45 in.22 and the HW40 and 70 in .177.

I must get me another 45 in .177 (stupidly sold one many years ago) and a 75 when funds allow.
