Afternoon Les hope you are keep well, yes I do have a MK1 TX200 Venom but mine has a shortened shrouded barrel and underlever, aluminium piston and set back gold plated trigger, incidentally I also have a std piston that has been converted by Venom to take the HW seal

I don't think I saw that gun, Les. --- Perhaps I was busy flipping burgers.

I should have guessed that Richard had one.

    Hello Mick
You was probably busy doing something as usual, looking after us all.
Yes Rikard does have some special guns.

At least I can be happy in the knowledge that I own one of the guns shown in Zedman's Venomac advert, Les.

    Unfortunately it's a Daystate Sportsman MK2.

    All the best Mick

I still prefer the Titan Mohawk, Les --- simpler to strip and service.

And I was wrong about only having one gun off the advert, I have a 54 Airking as well --- it's like a FWB300 designed for the Hulk.

Interestingly, I've just found a Venom TX piston in the spares collection. Ali body, steel nose, just over 150g all inc. Mk3 rod/stroke, and fitted with the green venom TX seal (larger lip groove). It's a bit light, but at mk2 stroke it would be fine. Not ideal at mk3 stroke though - I'll probably fit a nose extension to it, or a longer rod (which would add 10g).
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

some pics. Nose is steel ahead of the front bearing ring, inserted into the ali body. So all the load bearing is steel, which is sensible.

    some interesting reference photo's there

I'll see if I've time to strip my tx & get a photo of the piston, looks very much like the steel one with the brass adapter T 20 uploaded
