Funny enough JB I sold my .22 cal pro elite as it didn't shoot as nice as the .177 cal. I've tried a few 25mm conversions at the bash and must say the do shoot very well. Mach 1.5
I suspect the collectible value will at sometime outstrip all commentary of how they shoot; if it shoots well thats a bonus.
Basically the price will reflect how good it looks and how near to mint. A rare enough rifle and desirable for collectable reasons alone.
So with walnut stock does it look £750 of lovliness??? I suspect it does as they are good looking.
Thanks for the input folks. Forgot to mention it's in the gallery of AIRARMSANORAK.COM . Mach 1.5
Did you see the one that was in Daventry guns a few weeks ago,
fancy CS stock tuned by someone I hadn't heard of but very good rep, cant remember his name, from up north, there were three or four from the same collection from the look of it, dearest I've seen,
it was either £1000 or £1200
they had a longbow you mentioned on here,
smart looking bit of kit,
I'd forgot about that Paul!
You will find it at the bottom of the page fellas so will need to go through a lot more gun porn I'm afraid.

Right if its the last picture on the page, then the walnut isn't the most exciting.
I'd put a valuation nearer £650 than £750. Here are the reasons why: a good example is worth £550 for rarity, a tad more for .177. The additional stock another £70. For more that £650 the rifle needs to look sexier with more colour to the walnut.
It is a rare rifle and not cheap in its day. £550 is a premium for a second hand rifle. Not many rifles second hand have any premium and most are in freefall until they hit the good value compared to new stuff. So the Pro Elites are already demanding much and doing exceedingly well when most rifles don't. Top price still have to compete with the custom stripey numbers that look the bucks.
Having said that someone might have snapped it up at the top figure and be happy as punch.
Thanks for the input folks. Yes the walnut is bland I must say. Mach 1.5
A guy has two for sale on gunstar. One mint in the box the other in excellent condition. Both. 22 cal and beech. £1500 for the two. Mach 1.5
