Following with interest i'm looking to pick up my first pcp and an NP-02 keeps reappearing at the top of my list
Daystate Air Ranger FAC - Kral Bullpup & NP03 - CZ 452 .22lr - Lithgow 17hmr - Remington 783 .223 - Franchi 612vs 12G - Renato Gamba 12G O/U - Hatsan Escort 12G
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.....
I had a go at fixing a np02 as it was leaking in the fill probe area and had no success getting the end block off, went as far as I dared clamping the cylinder in a vice and even bent the bar that was lathe made to Fit the fill port trying to get it unscrewed. Gave it a bit of heat and it made no difference so they are well put together just hope they never have to come apart!
Saying that I do have a puncher breaker and it’s quite a nice bit of kit for the money.
In my case I HAD to buy two krals, both from brand new and it was a horror story with both.
First was dangerously inaccurate with a crown cut off centre to the bore and not square to the court and of the barrel. Wouldn't hit a 3 foot square from 12 (ish) yards in.25 cal
Second one was replacement for first one and accurate until it leaked air from every joint...after 2 weeks. In. 22 cal.
My advice is go for artemis if you want value. I have p10 and a p15 and they're awesome.
I also have rapids, daystate and HW80, having owned many other guns.
The Kral was a real shame for me but two shockers, both from brand new..... I won't go there again. Bit like BSA, really.

Firstly Kral puncher in 25
Replaced with a Kral punches breaker synth in 22 which was lovely to shoot, when it worked. I was well pleased at first but it went off a cliff really quickly.
After that I gave up and got shut to a good friend who is an engineer. He ended up making a new valve, stem, valve housing etc.
It was a shame that it failed because I love it at first.
The puncher was a lovely rifle to handle, nice turk walnut stock and scary unsafe.
When I bought the np02 I was at a boinger bash and a mate who is a forum member told me he had mega problems with an early puncher. I had bought the np02 on a whim and straight away thought oh no what have I bought when he told me all the problems he had with his kral. Fortunately after a couple of days shooting it at the bash I was already smitten with the rifle, and after the mate who had such a bad experience with his kral shot it he seemed pleasantly surprised. I think the earlier models were plagued with issues but they have learnt from their mistakes.
I'm not so sure that have learnt by their mistakes. I bought the mk2 Breaker bullpup and within a week it had seal problems. It was sent back and returned fixed within the week. A month later I sat drinking coffee when a big bang followed by a rush of air and a burst disc had blown. The rifle was filled to a 190 bar as I was already aware of not going to the recommended 200 bar because of this problem. Although I bought mine almost a year ago, reports of problems are still pretty much on going.
It's a shame as their line up has nice looking things, but for me they are not reliable enough.
A friend owns a shooting range and had NP02s as the hire guns, they are great but he decided to sell them off as a bit too complicated for newcomers. Has had less than a tin of pellets through and it's great I really can't fault it all. Hitting a 6inch tall bell at 70 metres no problem at all. It's .177 calibre. I would upload a photo but I can't remember how.
Only things I would check is the that it holds air and check the crown, as someone else mentioned some of the krals have sub standard crowns causing accuracy issues. It has a power adjuster on the left of the action which is handy as mine was putting out a very consistent 11.84ftlb with JSBs, a little too close to the wire for me so I knocked it down by 0.5.
