    Pelicase inserts reconfiguring

Hoping that someone here can give me some useful advice.
I've got a very nice Pelicase 1500 which has been messed about with internally in the past - looks like a gorilla configured the insert to fit a very nice Titan pistol..... I say fit in the loosest sense of the word!
I still have most of the chunks of foam that were removed in order to fit the pistol.
What I'd like to know is whether there's a way of putting foam back in order to make things a better fit?
At the moment I can only think of that spray on upholstery adhesive that you spray on both parts and wait for it to go tacky before fitting together, but I can see that winding up in a hell of a mess!
    Any advice appreciated.
    Cheers

Why not see if you can just replace at a decent price? Foam should not be that expensive and would give a nicer result than gluing together butchered chunks.

Thanks for that - excellent idea. Had no idea that company existed.
Any thoughts on best way of accurately cutting foam?

    Hi...

    Pick'nPluck foam from http://www.efoam.co.uk/pickpluck.html

Only trouble is you've got to buy a lot of it. I use it in my camera cases.

    Cheers

I use a bread knife for mine, anything with a serrated edge.

I bought a sheet of packing foam (the hlb stuff) and found that works really well for making your own inserts. Have heard that kaizen foam cuts well also.

when I did this in one of mine I used a hot glue gun, worked pretty well. Saved the expense of replacing the pick 'n' pluck as it's not cheap
