    Peacemaker advice

    Hi everyone

I got the nickel pellet version in July, pleased with it but on its third outing today (maybe 500 pellets fired), they are sticking in the barrel. It will cycle when the cylinders are empty. I've emailed the gunshop butnot open till Wednesday. I'm wondering if they fix iris it likely to happen again? I've had the Umarex 586 for 10 years and never had fault with that. Not changed pellet or capsule type since day 1. Thanks for any advice.

    Andy

Thanks Gingernut have you got one? If I rod it it can only be done from the muzzle toward me, whereas my 586 can be rodded properly all the way through if that makes sense. It's only had two morning's worth of use since new.

About 60, similar to my Smith&Wesson but that has a swing out magazine so the bore can easily be accessed to get a rod down breech to muzzle.

    I have more than one!

The manual shows you how to clean the barrel.
It has to be done from the muzzle end.

500 pellets is a lot through one of these in such a short time.

[Thanks I've read the uk version of the manual at least, can't see anything in the troubleshooting other than running a rag through for cleaning. Have to say it's disappointing compared to my 586 which seems more solidly constructed. I'll see what the shop says when I return it.

Back from the shop, fixed in 5 minutes. They said they had never seen one with seven pellets lodged, if it happens again remove the cartridges, align cylinder with barrel and they should rod out. And push pellets fully home otherwise might foul the frame. Put about 10 pellets through since yesterday and all seems well.

Wow glad you solved that , I am just about to buy one of these and was a litttle worried for a moment. Seems ok now? Maybe you can give us an update in a couple of weeks or so?
    Thanks so much
