    Powder funnel?

I reload for several calibres and manage powder filling case on all except 223.

I've just been looking at sets, but no real need for one, just need a preferably small metal funnel with a inside spout bore less than 5mm, which I make the inside neck of a 223 case to be.

If any one has found such an item? I would be grateful for details.

I use the Satern funnels as sold by Mark at 1967Spud reloading.

    https://www.1967spud.com/shop/reload...satern-funnel/

I use a 6.5 one for reloading my Creedmoor and it fits on top of the case perfectly and the powder flows into the case with no problems and am seriously considering getting one for .223 as I don't find the Lee one sits on top of the case that securely.

Only down side is they're not cheap at £20 each.

Yes, that's what I found with the Lee funnel.
I've seen good write up's on the Satern, like every thing good, it's generally dearer than others.

I use these funnels, damn good they are too. Being anti-static the powder never sticks and they fit cases perfectly. As you say, not cheap though.
I have them in 6.5 and 223 plus a few others.

I had saturn funnels for three cals and there is no question they were all good, but very delicate and prone to deforming.

I created a more consistent/better balanced funnel using a well worn old plastic funnel, a sacrificial case and some metal putty.
A little time with the dremmel tool, some acetone (nail polish remover) to smooth the finish, and it fitted better than anything else I've used.

I treated myself to an Area419 funnel set a few years ago and it's excellent. Bloomin pricey but it's really nice to use.
