I own 2 mk3 S200’s in .177 and .22, both Huma regulated with 150ml Altaros aluminium cylinders, and quick fill foster connectors.

Maybe if CZ had made a model like that they might still be in production?

In my opinion the weak point of the S200 was the trigger, however after spending a few hours on mine they are now as good as I need them.

It is a pity CZ has quit production of the S200 because it’s still a very viable pcp,
and there’s no doubt that barrel is far better than others in it’s price class.

All bsa rifles I've encountered are, for the money, crap. Biggest example of stick the right badge on anything and it'll get a following.
Why is it that everyone that owns a bsa has to advertise it as "JB blueprinted" when the inevitable sales post comes around? We all know the answer.
No one has to blueprint their S200. I've owned two S200s and regret selling bot if I'm honest. I've owned a heap of bsas in the hope of finding that diamond in the rough. All moved on, no regrets.
I loved the look of the r10 Mk2 (or is itmk3?) SE in pepper laminate. My mate bought one.... He no longer has it.
I wish I could support the UK badge but based on personal experience... I can't.
Love my theoben rapids, love my air arms, love my two artemis and my old daystate. Love my HW80... I'm not fixed on one brand but BSA are just a marketing success. Product is not good.

when the S200 first came out, loads of folks (myself included) bought spare S200 barrels and grafted them onto all sorts of decent rifles, including Pro Targets, Rapids, etc (this was a good few years ago).

The CZ barrels are excellent. BSA barrels can be excellent, but are a bit hit and miss, so to speak, and generally require some attention.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

This is a very sad thread.........I had one of the first Ultras and currently own a s200...... In fact last night I used it to clear 30+ pigeons the total for the year is in four figures with this little underestimated gun, its light agile accurate nothing goes bleep or ping or breaks it works with minimal tlc and if it is discontinued I am going to get another sharpish .

Maybe CZ has decided not to make airguns any more . Maybe they want to concentrate on Powder burners 100%.

i wouldn't think a barrel would be anything as good as a few of the eu produced ones today . err may have been the case IMO 30 years ago
