Well for a start, he’s on the wrong knee ... If you can work out which is which 😊 and yes he/she has lovely hair.
Been having fun shooting my CZ VZ35 rifles with its custom carved stock probably of German origin. I have looked up carved rifle stocks, mostly seem to be German, and they all seem to be of animals of the hunt: deer etc. My rifle being a Airgun the carved figure is that of a target shooter? I wonder if there are other examples of carved Airgun stocks? I’ve seen Don Robinson’s highly embellished stocks but I don’t see figures? Not necessarily a great artistic work but got to love his flowing long hair! I know in Germany there were shooting clubs but can’t find out much about how their competitions worked, was a knelling position part of it?

Not sure where I`m going.....But I`ll get there someday
Looks to be the right knee to me?
I’m not a tremendous fan of embellishment but I must admit your vz35 is an exception Steve.
Morally flawed
