Clearing my late father in law's place and stumbled across an Original Model 6. I know nothing about guns at all and so am looking for some advice on where to sell something like this and rough idea on value. The gun looks spotless and still fires. The box is trashed but there are some of what looks like original targets and pellets. Think it's circa 40 years old and has a plastic grip. Hope someone can help
Thanks

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
And be careful with firing it. The seals in these degrade badly over time. Is the grip grey or brown?
PS - welcome to the forum.
sell it on here.
If it's never been resealed, as above, the original seals crumble over the years. In degraded condition, but otherwise good mechanically, probably worth £75. If resealed, more like £140.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
Lovely pistols, stripping them is not for the beginner. As said it will need resealing for sure, seals are relatively cheap the other bits are not!
Let down by the hideous plastic stock!

Many thanks for the prompt replies. I'll try and post some photos when I get back to my laptop to see if it's of interest to anyone on here. It has brown plastic grip. Be good to sell it on to someone who wants it and knows what they are doing.
I have just made a new stock for mine out of a nice piece of walnut, It had its third thin coat of boiled linseed rubbed into it yesterday, needs a week to dry then its checkering time.
Dont these have the month and year of manufacture in very small numbers on the action like the rifles?
