I have a nice little collection of vintage scopes that would look good on the Ace.
The 4x40 Kassnar on the photo is probably a good period correct choice.
However, I would like to do a bit less collecting and more shooting.
Just a direction I'm thinking about now.
Too much time and energy has gone into acquiring stuff. Too little into actually shooting it.
So now I would like to put a good scope on the Ace, to find out about its full potential.
Requirements: parallax adjustment, minimum 9x magnification, mildots.
Soooo: I'll use a modern scope lol. Sacrilege! Yes. And it feels lovely haha. Let's see what the Ace can do.

I bought an Ace when they first appeared here and i still have it. I have used two scopes on it over the years. The first is a Sterling 4x40 gloss black Japanese optics which is now on my Mercury. The scope it has on it now is an ASI 4x32 deluxe again Japanese glass. I have shot hundreds of rabbits with this little gun over the years and also wood pidgeons. Great little rifles.

Wow that's nice jackal1!
Great to read that you still enjoy your Ace, and that it has brought lots of meals on the table.
Cheers, Louis

I went for a Nikko Stirling Mountmaster 3-9x40 AO.
I have a few of these; excellent value for money, light, good reticle.
