I've used one that took a std AA size, I would suggest you search google/youtube.

ANOTHER OF THEIR LIGHTS USES AN INR 18650 , LIKE A 2X AA , BUT FATTER , SO I ORDERED TO FROM A SUPPLIER , BUT THEY ARE TOO THICK TO BE INSERTED , ANY IDEAS FOLKS

I've used one that took a std AA size, I would suggest you search google/youtube.
If it's slightly smaller than an 18650 it could be two cr123 cells it uses.
A 17670 is the same size as 2 cr123a cells but only 3.7v like an 18650.
I have an old w501 torch that used two cr123a batteries but I use a 17670 in it instead. .
17670 are not easy to find sadly. I got mine from an old laptop battery.
