Noone got a,senior frame spare then? Maybe a broken pistol?
I have recently acquired a mostly fair condition post war senior where the frame has been violated at the rear plug
A hole has been drilled through left to right to pin the rear plug in place (eek) with a spring pin...and its been done in such a way that the plug isnt sitting flush to the frame.
Its a pity as the overall condition isnt too bad (a few scuffs and such as you would expect) and the gun operates fine if you are brave enough to have the bodge in front of your face
I’ll have a look at the plug thread in the frame and see whats prompted this butchery but thought I’d see if there was a good frame available in case the current one is beyond safe/discrete repair.
Anything out there?

Wait long enough and the right bit often turns up

Have you had the opportunity to ascertain why it might have been so mutilated ?
If the pin is removed ,will the plug screw up tight ?
Just wondering
Mark
The roll pin has bent and wont drift out so has been ground flush and will need some further persuasion
Once its removed the state of the frame threading will be apparent and i can then say more on the why of the nned for a bodge
Its absolutely a bodge but the reason isnt yet known
