For Sale: A Webley Mk.2 Service air rifle - near mint:

    For Sale:

A .22 calibre WEBLEY MARK 2 SERVICE air rifle, serial number S7106, in really cracking condition.

95% original blued finish, very minor surface abrasions in one or two spots, probably merely from where the rifle has been put down. All screw heads crisp, both sights obviously present and perfect. The stock in similarly super condition, one very small 'dint' to the top of the pistol grip, and a chip at the bottom of the butt plate, and that's it.

The only downside is the absence of the interruptor sear, which is disappointing, but a replacement would not be difficult to make, but not by me however!

Clearly a little used rifle that has been kept in a dry place. Very fine overall condition indeed. Came out of a 30 year old collection.

    PRICE: £575 - Postage @ £12.00

That sounds like a very good buy for that price in that condition. as for the intercepting sear, l made one for one of mine so that should be quite easy if l can do it.
