    Mk 7 Meteor value

I have a Meteor Mk7, My cousin is interested in it so I don't want to give it away but by the same token want to give him a good deal.
AS you often do I paid too much for it so will loose out but it is in very good little used condition.
Metalwork is unmarked, stock has light marks here and there more from storage than use.
Where to start on valuation?? Should he bail out it might show up on here as it's one of many oldies I have that are spare to my collection that need to go.
    Steve

I've had Good deals & great info from many in this forum.

The good old Meteor was a very popular rifle and masses we produced.
Prices vary hugely depending on condition, caliber and model type ie Super Meteor or standard.
Sadly they’re not hugely valuable. Recent auction prices for good examples ran from £30-60 obviously adding commissions that would bring them up to tops £90.
For a private sale again depending on above £100-150 but as as ever condition is everything and finding a buyer who’s happy with your price? Sadly there’s a huge amount of choice with theses.
    Cheers
    Dave.
People said smile things could get worse, so I smiled and they did!
