    Hi Peter,

They vary from 18 to 20 grains.

The tin should tell you the weight in grains if the contents are original and I have found that most pellets in older tins are 19 grains or a little over.

I haven't tested any of the more recent White Rhino 20 grainers.

    Kind regards,

    John

I still have a sealed tin of the old green and white labelled '.25cal', '350 nominal', 'Made in Scotland by Milbro', which is marked as being '18gn.'

    Hi Roly,

The earliest tins were marked 18 gn on the lids. This then changed to 19 gn and finally 20 gn, so they do vary.

I remember weighing some pellets from a tin of 18 gn Rhinos and they came in nearer to 19 with some over 19 gn.

    Kind regards,

    John

    Hi John,

The Rhino .25 tin I still have is the last remaining tin from the batch I bought ex. gun shop closure many years ago, most of which you purchased from me, so not being very mobile at present, and out of interest, I will weigh some of the contents to see what differences in weight I find.
I also have a few tins of Webley Mosquito .25 - 6.35mm and Bisley Pest Control .25 - 6.35mm, neither of which state any weight on the tins, so I may weigh a few of them as well.

    Hi David,

I still have some of those Rhino tins I bought from you and have since added to my cache. They are used as 'best' in the .25 BSA Improved Model D and Webley Service.

    Kind regards,

    John
