    HI GUYS, the above on sale on g**star, custom walnut stock,£300, not mine.

    Not sure whether I like that or not, but it’s quite well done. But it’s still at heart a Mk5 or 6…

    I like the bull barrel and nicely figured walnut but the overall style and oversized cheekpiece look awful to my eyes.

    Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
    Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

    Don Robinsons personal Airsporter is up for sale HERE!!

    Not sure if it's the same one as on g/star but it's hideous!

    EDIT-Just found the one on G/Star, It's hideous but near the level of Dons gun!!

    A baroque 'monsterpiece'!

    Take one of the most elegant springers and really go to town ruining its purposeful, clean lines. And WHY does it have an American bald eagle on it? Is it going to war for the freedom to make horrible things out of beautiful wood? I think it might be the eagle from the cover of the 60s child's comic of the same name...

    Yes, the Airsporters strongest feature was its styling, well the early ones and some of the later ones anyhow, thats not an improvement!

    Both are flipping horrible, the Don Robinson has a Frankenstein stitch up patchwork stock, veneers and overlays, boak

    I rather like their own description of the woodwork if you read the full details it says;

    "Custom made walnut stock fully ambitious"

    That might not be a bad description of it?
