Parker Hale PH17
Hi,
I am looking to get a valuation on a sight I picked up recently as part of a multiple purchase.
It is a Parker Hale PH17, I have no idea what sort of price I should be looking at. Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Etienne

Think it's missing the mount rail. Check bay of e advanced search "completed" listings

Looks like a nice-condition example. The basic PH 17 was for a side mount to rimfire receiver tubes of about 1" diameter (PH's 1955 catalog specifically mentions the BSA Century). There should be an integral mounting bar with two screw holes in front of the main body of the sight?
The only variant applicable to airguns is the PH 17B, with base made for the Webley Mk 3.
The AJ Parker-style BSA eyepiece is probably older than the sight, and a nice collectible in its own right.
I second the recommendation to troll the usual auction sites for cost numbers.

I recently picked up the following in a package.......
PH17, rear micrometer windage and elevation with quick release button that works
PH59, eye-piece with seven aperture disc that indexes nicely
FS 22A, front tunnel sight with two inserts, dovetail fitting
Parker Hale Brass Butt storage box for screwing to the stock
All for £64 delivered off fleabay

Thanks everyone.
I do have the rail it was just hiding in that photograph.
The photo seems to have disappeared, I must have broken a rule.
