    Webley MK3

    Hi all
    Have a MK3 in 177 ,what ft-lb should I expect ?
I need to find a loading tap lever of the late type ,as the one I have has broken and been repaired
Finally it is a late action c1971. But is in a very early stock stamped no2022 .
So I need a late stock to either buy or swop ?
    Cheers ian

    Webley Mk3

    Hi Ian
The MK3’s I’ve had over the years were all between 8-10 Ftlbs.
Can’t help you with spares I’m afraid but might be worth phoning Protek or Knibbs (they sometimes have items not listed on their website…worth a try!) All the best.

As Tinram says really, the .22 ones are the ones that tend to make the higher power, sometimes 10.5, even nudging a bit more whereas the .177 version can be quite a bit lower mabe 8.5 ish. There's quite a bit it depends on, it's more condition of the working parts, fit, how it's been set up etc rather than age alone. Stocks do turn up on auction sites but seem to go for quite a bit but they are around. Just watch out for splits or repairs around the screw holes. Nice old rifles though.
