Quite nice but not worth half that price.

There is something about the US climate that is kind to etching. You see some lovely etched examples over the pond. Are they all in the dry states. What a beauty. What a price. Apparently the US has got really keen on BSA underlevers. Hope they don't all end up getting exported to the massive US gun market. Hopefully they will stick to their .22's for plinking

There were actually 2 BSA’s auctioned this week with nice etching. This was the other one!

"When the rifle is pumped once and fired it makes a loud sound - that's as much as I can test as I have no ammo"
Obviously a very keen airgun enthusiast.
Wow was that the final price, very nice condition but not worth that much. well not over here. what did the first one go for, which is in better condition.
nice rifle but a lot of money
That’s the one I bought, nicest BSA Light I have ever seen for sale over here, and has what looks like a factory installed 21a aperture. But pics are pics, will see when I get it in my hands. Was surprised noone really battled me for it? When I saw that clear etching and the pic below I had to go for it. BSA only installed that 21a for a couple years, serial number has it made in 1920.

lovely but expensive
The best of the best always comes at a price.
Good well etched guns always fetch a premium as there are so few around.
I think you did really well with the gun you bought. Well done yet again
Lakey
I have been lucky and found a few with etching, but none as nice as the USA models
