You might be better off asking in the Collectables section.

Thanks, I have 84 views no response ?

OK, I'll start it off with an estimated value of £200, as long as it has the original cocking aid with it as well, - not shown in the photographs.
Anybody can comment on a valuation thread, they just can't offer to buy on it.
Thanks,
I am only interested in rifles and don't have much idea on pistols, I just wanted an idea of a fair asking price so I could put the pistol up for sale in the collectables section just trying to do my best for the widow of my mate.
Thanks again Jim Watkins
Why? As long as you don't try to buy off the back of the valuation thread - there is nothing to stop you giving a valuation beyond the hope of it being under-valued.
The photographs aren't the best and the left side looks marked above the grip?
With these condition is everything and from what I can see Troubleshooters estimate is probably not far out.
Better photos might get a better estimate...

The mark on the left side is a stamp "Made in Germany" looks to be done after the pistol was made?
Further to the debate on the, Made in Germany Stamp on the action of the pistol . I still have a large collection of 53s having sold quite a number over the last few years. Included in my collection of delux and card boxed versions are a number of which were bought in Germany with the German instruction leaflets and then brought back into Britain. On inspection these do not have the English stamp on the gun, so obviously just for British markets when stamped.
