Lovely - very similar to mine, but I think a shorter barrel. Any retailer marks?
I have just got a Webley Bentley .36 calibre six shot percussion double action only revolver open frame type, with a 4" barrel, Birmingham proof marks for around 1850.
it has around 60% of its original finish.

No Retailer signature which I don't think is unusual
No, not unusual, as you say. Mine's a 5" barrel
looks very nice, a good honest piece
I have a similar pistol only mine is a clone, Belgium proofed, no other markings except the odd bit of pitting! Mines a 6" barrel.
Back around 1980 my Dad & i bought a Webley wedge frame revolver from Alexandra guns, It was worn & rather beaten up & the hammer spring was broken. I forged a new one for it. Lot of work & had to make two before i got it right.
I swapped it for a 10 bore fowling piece about 30 years ago & have regretted it ever since.
