I bought a set of the bay.... Fingers crossed, not needed yet...
I still have a notion for a SSP rifle and finally might have a FWB 600 lined up, actually have several to look at, I had a very quick look tonight at a couple of 600's, one isn't holding air, one is but i don't know how healthy it is, the others i will get a better look at maybe next week.
Who has spares / seals for these ?

Today i looked at 6 guns,
2 x Feinwerkbau 300S, one had a crumbled breech seal
2 x Feinwerkbau 600, one wouldn't hold air, the other was fine
Feinwerkbau 601
Anschutz 2001 Super Air
The 4 that worked all made between 5.3 and 5.9 ft/lbs, all sounded and felt fine, club guns so no case queens but all seemed sound.
The 601 looked the cleanest, it has an extra little button on the cocking lever that needs to be pushed before the lever will open properly, whats that about ?
What other differences are there between the 600 and the 601 ?
How does the Anschutz compare to the 600 series Feinwerkbau ?
Have a look here:https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2021...-rifle-part-1/
Thank you, well worth a read.
Yes, a very interesting read, I have a 600 and a 602 but couldn't tell you of the internal differences as I've never had to open them up.
As in the article, the lock button on the sidelever was introduced to stop the cocking arm flying open if your hand slipped off the grip.
As far as I can make out, the 600 series never came with a case, they were just sent out in a cardboard box.
All the best Mick

Old thread i know but i kept coming back to this photograph ....
It just looked "right" and eventually i got a 601 and i finally got around to getting it up and running.
I had been waiting on seals for a couple of months, they arrived on Thursday so I spent most of Friday at it, obviously it hadn't been used for a long time and everything needed a good clean and lube but it's a nice thing to work at.
First shots with it today, just adjusting the stock and trigger as i went, i don't really know what im doing with 10m rifle, i was happy keeping them all in the black (just about), lots to learn but lots of fun.
I will run a tin of pellets through it to let it settle down and then chrono it but it feels like its all ok, what sort of velocity should i be looking for ?
Buinger had the seals and grease, the only part i need is the little damper for the cocking lever, the original had disintegrated, anybody any idea if they are available ?
Stock is a bit tatty, not too bad, i haven't decided if i will have a go at refinishing it or leave it alone.
No major dents, it's mostly small dents in the finish or the finish flaking.
Anybody refinished one ?
The front sight is 16mm and the insert is 4.4mm, are inserts available ?
4.4mm seems ok but i wouldn't mind trying a little larger.
Well done on getting sorted.
I have no idea on the power output of the 600 range but from memory I think I chronoed one of mine at about 600fps.
If you search YouTube you'll find that the FWB600 is popular in Germany for FT and one video shows how they alter the power to be under the German limit of 7.5 Joules power output.
All the best Mick
