Great picture Barry
I quite like the FWB mk4 setup just shows enough but not too much
As I don't know enough about the rifles themselves, I really like the teardrop look on the stocks of the older HW77,80,& 97's. Perhaps I'll feel different when I learn more. I do agree about the exposed front end, but I also have a Webley Vulcan.

HW 77K .22,Gammo Hornet .22 BSA 3-9 x 50 Night light ,HW 40 .177,Gamo Maxxim Elite .22 multi shot, Beeman P17 .177 red dot sight ,SMK CP2 co2 with Hawk 3-9 x 50.Slingshots PPMG+TTF PPMG mk 2 ott PPMG ott Original custom made solid Bronze, Number 15 of 20
Well, I'll give the newest variant HW80SLK a solid thumbs up
.22 which gives it a head start with regards to shot cycle and yes, it is heavy, but next a TX/Prosport it is far from being unwieldy
Put around 400 shots through it now, and it is returning a 7fps spread over 20 shots at 11ft/lb with Air Arms Diabolo Field 16gr, shot cycle is quick, but no bucking, kicking, jumping out of your hands
Market research pending I think it is the most expensive break barrel you can still buy new, it's the only air rifle I've ever brought new, and I don't feel like I've been rooked
Need to swap the silencer for something shorter and slimmer, and can't fault the stock, but my weakness for customstocks cs700 thumbhole may get the better of me......
TX200 .177 21mm TL | TX200HC .22 22mm TL | Prosport .22 22mm TL
HW40 | HW45 | Diana Mod5 | Webley Senior....... Because PCP is like kissing your sister (apparently)
Excellent stuff. Keep enjoying.
