I can see the similarities, especially around the eyes and nose…That’s great.
I wonder if it’s the same pistol?

Yes I could see it could well be the same person.
Great if it is
I've often wondered who the 'model' was and what happened to him. Perhaps he was a factory worker's relative? Please share the story Stu.
Is there any way of finding out for sure?
Kind regards,
John
Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.
I would be interested to find out. It's an intriguing story in the history of Webley.
My sister was at school with the bloke who posed in the Barnett Commando crossbow ads.
What a great little story. I often think who the lad was back in the day? Always remind me of "one of the big lads "at school.
I think its the same person.
"E rrrr mate we need a Yoth for a advert photo shoot. Hows about a Party 7 and a snog my with sister"
"Just the beer please".

That's not the same person. I know because one of them is me.
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.
It's on FB Vintage Webley Airpistols (no sales) group. Would still be great to know who the young lad actually is.

Probably one of the lads from the local school at the back of the factory. Webley used to dish out pistols for them to try out to find which bits broke first!
