Law of sod, I go out, I get sick, fortunately nothing more than what feels like a cold but just aswell todays now a quiet one, might sit with a Cuppa outside for a quiet plink if the winds not too harsh and if it is I'll use the indoor range instead.
Got some expired Nuts left over from Chistmas to load into a Catty to belt things with aswell and the brightside with these is that any flyers don't matter as they are good for the soil so no worry about finding them later.

Still not left mine yet today acctually, probably will be indoors if I plink as winds getting up so no limit on daylight (will light outdoors eventually with something solar that the range computer can control), no restrictions really on anyone visiting bar appointments from time to time and me being awake (as just woken up I can be real aggy until meds kick in), area I'm in has multiple schools so best avoid driving in it during run times but other than that thers a parade of shops up the back of the house for supplies, ensuite Lurcher to pet and plenty of junk to blow to bits if wanting to blow off some steam.
Range rules for everyone are don't be a dick to the neighbours or dog, no steel bbs or highpower indoors, nothing over 12ftlbs on the targets as they are only rated to that and if you're going to use a lot of ammo either bring your own or replenish what you use.

I did once launch a concrete post with the M3 through a neighbours fence, did fess up and offer to pay for it but they never came to collect, I'd just brought it back after a test run with the new micro switches put in the paddles and I tried to Lambo park as the council are terrible for maintaining the bays in the street, so sat on the sill to lean out out so I could see fully behind the bumper and make sure all I was touching was soft foliage and my left foot working the pedals, it got stuck and jammed the accelerator so off we went on the Rev limiter into the post which it fortunately went enough under to lift the rear wheels otherwise I'd have got through several gardens before landing in someones Kitchen in the next street.

Well got some new painkillers to add to the mix and I've only just woken up from having to lie down after taking them so no plinking and probably none until later for safety sake.
Was supposed to sorting out payment this evening past for some new pellets to try but guy hasn't sent me the price so guessing was either tied up or forgot so shall message him in the morning as was old Faffbook so message might disturb.

Basherati have been a bit quiet, you Old boys feeling alright?

    Smile Result!

    Yay!

So, a couple of months ago, on one of my days off, one of my customers brought in three guns to work. One of the managers kicked off, saying we couldn't have firearms on premises, so young Matt (who came to a couple of Bashes last year) took them home with him. As soon as I was back in the car for work (last Friday), I asked him to bring them in so I could take them home. Didn't know what they were prior to seeing them, other than two rifles and a pump-up pistol.......

The two rifles are SMKs. These have been gifted to my daughter's boyfriend, to start him off on his airgun shooting journey. The pistol is an earlier 1377. The type with the cocking knob at the rear and rotating breech cover.

The little pistol is a festival of external rust and wouldn't pump. Twenty minutes with some 3-in-1 oil and a rag yesterday evening got it looking quite a lot nicer. And before I decided to strip to look at the pump head and valve, I thought I'd try the old time-honoured trick and see if introducing some Pellgun oil onto the pump head and working it into the valve would revive it.

It did! After a good few drops and working the oil in, it started to compress air. And would hold it (certainly
for a short time, anyway). So I then fed in a little more and stored it overnight "on its back" and with the muzzle pointing upwards a little. I'll have another little play later and see if it's done the trick. If it needs a strip, they're a doddle anyway and I'll do it, but there's a chance that this has done the trick anyway and would be a super-cool, cheap "fix"...., that's three 1377s now.

Thanks Tone….weather’s been great for a week now but may be on the turn today, still here near Cromer. Been good to meet up a few days ago, with my sister in nearby Mundesley, down the coast.

Been having a plink in the small holding*, belonging to an Airgun pal of mine where I’ve been camping caravan style since Saturday. “Luxury..Sheer Luxury!” as 4 Yorkshiremen courtesy of Monty Python would have commented!😉…

Not as fancy as it sounds as the caravan’s no’ plumbed in nor hooked up to the leccy!…but I’m not complaining as it saved me from having to rig up that big barsteward of a tent that I used at the Bash…

No’ sure where I’m heading next apart from a wee return trip back to my sisters’ place to tackle some DIY jobs I promised to attend to.
Might give Unframed Dave a shout as he’s only about 20miles away and I could look 👀 in at the Motorcycle Museum in North Walsham on the way there.

If the weather stays fine that’ll be a real bonus.

    * “Ooh err, Missus!” …. I suppose that does sound a bit dubious … 🥴😉

New ammo to try on the way so hopefully don't get too tied up with things so I can plink on it's arrival.
Think I better get to that Camera tripod thing soon as we've had issues with my right shoulder today, probably strained it hobbling about, just need to figure out how I want to attach it and have rifles attach to it so it can be used for all sorts of models.
