I had a new one today too, the Falcon finally has a scope thanks to Ash so I need to sort my spares out for a giveaway (although will keep one for the SMK when I've paid for it).
Rain was too heavy to zero on the Garden range so will have to wait for better weather, still arranging someone to assist me at Lea Valley next month as Mrs will get bored and Mate thats sort of intrested works that day, don't need a driver though as it's in my limit.
This also now gives me a choice of 4 Rifles at the Bash which I may now have a solution for transporting with kit so will make the tripods rest adapter shortly which I'm happy to share with other disabled shooters should they need it.

Not long until it's into the 60's

Had to take a preload washer out of the HW 95 after the spring bash, looks like the TBT kit has worn in

Sitting at 10.6 now so maybe it's in the fabled sweet spot

    That sounds nice Paul
Hopefully just low enough to not be flippy and still fast enough to be crisp

My HW's sit between 10.5 and 10.8. Its a good balance to be honest. When actually look at the small amount of fps required to increase the muzzle energy significantly it makes sense to run them a bit lower. Still a nice flat trajectory and a greatly reduced recoil for the loss of only around 30 fps

When my standard 97 was at 10.5 it was the sweetest shooting, most accurate rifle I could wish for.

I fitted a slimtech style steel mod & that sorted the famous flip, I'm hoping the power reduction is going to make the cycle a bit "softer".

I'm hoping for reduced recoil, it's short stroked but still gave a bit of a "thwack", the one preload washer I removed has dropped the power by 2 ft/lb !

The HW 45 should be getting it's TBT kit installed soon for a trip to the range It could do with a red dot or scope tbh.

We are all different in what we like from an air rifle
One man's crisp is another man's snappy
2 shooters that I respect fired my 280 at the Bash
One said blimey you know you've shot that don't you
    The other said I didn't know I needed a 280 till now
No one is right or wrong
I am not going to sell my 280 to he who needs it because he will hit the bucket with it!
    Pete
