As already posted this is different from the Falcon set up.

mornin peeps,
the other day i purchased a detwannging kit from t.robb airguns for my fac falcon (20 ft/ibs). the kit comprises a small brass spring guide to replace the plastic falcon one-fair enough. Now then, there are also 4 x 20mm dia approx white, very thin ptfe discs which the instructions say to use 1 or 2, bend in half and fit in the spring?? to stop it resonating after each shot?? anybody know the correct way to fit these ptfe discs?

I'm sorry I can't help you. I've fitted the Falcon one but what you have sounds totally different.
Hope you get sorted.

As far as i know the Falcon de-twanger fits in the air resi! not in the springs! The twanging sound that comes from the Falcons is caused by the resonance of the thin walled air res! hence the reason that you fit something in the air res.
Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong! But thats the way that i see it.
All the plastics discs will do is maybe dampen the sound of the hammer spring!
dont bother with the kit it dont work most of the falcon noise is the valve opening and closing these plasick disks just fowl the spring
My daystate twang's big time. There is no muzzle noise at all only the TWANG.I know you can fit a detwanger to the Daystate (in the air chamber)and it's supposed to sort them out,but i haven't actually spoken to anyone who's had this mod done to there gun.
I did to my old harrier, quietened down a lot.Originally Posted by harrier.177

(my lr90 is twangy)
Frankly, I'd rather live with the twang. I've had an FN12TW for the last 6 years and I'm very happy with it. The Falcon quickfill moderator, despite the bad press it sometimes gets, is neat and effective - at least to the point where the gun makes less noise than a good junior springer. The twang just isn't objectionable.
