King ratty breech on a std. ratty

Does it go straight on ?

    IS it any good ?

Any changes to the bolt required ?

Trying to save myself soe cash on an expensive aftermarket one for a £50 gun

    TIA - JB

Bolts straight on with no problems .King ratty bolt is better than standard ratty 1,screwed not glued together .

Nice long scope grooves .Scope mounts very solidly .

The barrel slides a long way back into the breech if you added another grub screw you could probably free float the barrel .

You can use what ever bolt you like .

The standard king ratty has the same length probe as a normal ratty .It has a steel bolt handle which screws into the probe rather than being all brass and pressed/glued together .
The kingratty bolt is better cos it doesn`t drop to bits .

If you need a kingratty bolt I have a spare as I have fitted the longer probe and stainless handle to mine.

Phoned up simmons/AGS direct, always good service, and yesterday was no exception - in fact, they arrived in the post this morning - just about 16 hours after I called them !

BTW The £25 includes postage too

They look pretty good, certainly well worth the money, and as Nutshot describes, the threaded bolts are an improvement too
