Its probably getting stuck, have you tried tapping it with your finger when its stuck at 160?
Just bought a s200 .22, fantastic gun, very accurate. But when I've come to re-charge it using my Webley pump, I have a problem...
The guage on the pump 'picked up' the gun at 100 bar, and took it round to 160 bar as normal, but after that, as I continue to pump air into the s200, the guage on the pump stays on 160 bar when it should be increasing???
I dont want to over fill the s200 by over filling it, but is this normal?
It does the same thing when filling my s410 but that has a guage on it, that seems to increase as you would expect, when the pump's guage sits on 160 bar...
Any thoughts?

Guage comes down fine from 160 back to 0 but not above that...
Jonster,
So the problem is with the pump rather that the gun (Phew)- which might make it somewhat easier to fix - Sounds like you need a new gauge.
Give Webley a call and see what they say!

Thanks for the replys guys
I agree the problem is with the pump and not the gun(s)
I'll take the pump and gun to my mates, try my pump on his gun and his pump on my gun, that *should* show where the problem is...
Probably just needs a new guage on the pump, anyone any idea on cost, can I fit it myself?
My suspicion would lie with the plastic disk that carries the markings for the needle to be gauged against. if they have any slight creases or cracks in them they can lift and foul the needle. Does happen quite often.
I'm telling you it moved!
Hi Mate,
It is deffo the pump as i had the same problem with mine.
Advice ........Get a divers bottle quick and sell your pump in the loot!
You cant beat the bottle.
Good luck.
But i like the pump, and it keeps me in shape
And as I have just forked out on a s200 / silencer / scope, I can't really afford buying a bottle just yet
I'll phone webley in the morning and see what they say...
Just spoke to Simon at Webley Tech Department
He agrees that the guage must be faulty and has said to sent it to him, and he will repair / replace as needed
Top marks to Webley for customer service
