I believe the hammer went down at £2300, someone with very very deep pockets wanted this, with the added fees of 22.5% plus 17.5% vat on top most probs ended up paying £3300 plus for a rifle I believe would have been about £2000 new in 2000. At the end of the day a beautiful, bespoke hand made rifle, if I had throw away money I would bid till I got it, but I havn't and I was out at £700 lol, I hope the new owner enjoys his new purchase, cheers Roll
