    Anshutz 250 Match Air rifle

    Hi
can any one give me a Valuation please !

Bought my Anshutz New in 1979 TLC trading company in Charing Cross W1.. I do not recall ever shooting it .

A few years ago i found a hairline split in the pistol grip. The metal work is almost new

I have taken it to Woodies in Wembley for a Full service and told that the stock would also be repaired

It will soon i hope be offered for sale

These rifles have a good history, their accuracy is acknowledged among the target shooters.

The stock is rather plain and has the original varnish.

Cracked pistol grip is quite common on these. Usually caused by shooting them with empty oil damper.(and/or the damper plate being worn/gone).
Theyre not very wanted. Theyre kinda the least wanted AR made by anschutz .
Cause theyre recoil damped, not recoilless. And the whole system is very sensitive.(oil damper, action end pin wear and stock)
So even when ivgc, it wont fetch much imo. Maybe 250
And thats with not-cracked stock. With cracked stock maybe 200
    Owned 2 myself.

Incorrect my friend on a few counts, much copied by other makers, easy to service,Only an idiot would shoot one without oil,if properly looked after one of the best spring 10mtr Rifles.Worth £300-350 easily in good working condition.

Its worth what somebody is willing pay for it.

With a cracked stock your estimate would be a little high in my opinion.

........but if your estimate is an offer to buy - then fair enough!

It is worth what somebody would actually pay for it, but I think the first estimate is closer to what it is likely to be sold for.

    Good working condition

As I said in GOOD working condition
Cracks in stock then it wouldn't command the Good price,I would deem it to be more a spares gun unless you can find or outfit it with a custom stock.
