    Ciao

    A) I had had a drop or 2

    B) It is interesting - I am aware my French is pretty scratchy but I was told when trying to use it to an unfortunate local there, that colloquially they often drop either the "ne" or the "pas". My French is schoolboy 70's ie very formal and they don't use a lot of the grammar - in the same way that English adapts with time. I suppose what is correct and what they speak are not always the same. M'sieur Gaz obviously knows a thing or 2 about it, so it is fun and educational to joust un peu!

If you're going to 'joust un peu' avec M'sieur Gaz tomorrow, can you do it in private, as :-

    1. I've got a delicate stomach.

    2. It might frighten Storm.
