    I have looked at some of the new plastic bb revolvers; when you cock them try feeling movement in the cylinders if the timing is good there should be none!
    Some of them have 2_3mm of movement these are to be avoided.

    Surprised that misalignment due to indexing problems could cause THIS mess to the barrel.

    It appears that the steel bb hit the metal cap on the barrel, then maybe deflected in the opposite direction and clobbered the sidewall of the barrel, repeatedly until it ruptured - what a mess

    I have a bb one but only shoot pellets through it
    won it in a raffle otherwise I wouldn't have chose a bb firer,when time allows i'll machine a better quality barrel up and may convert to .22 as I like my older crosman sa6 in .22 along with my 38t
