Shooting at 50M today and the best group with with 12.4 and 12.6gr of Lil' Gun. Pretty much clover leafing with the odd pulled shot by me. Happy with that anyway.

I sanded the barrel channel as it was touching the barrel at the end and bought some Warne scope rings because the cheap Tasco ones didn't look too solid.

Only problem now is that I think my Hawke scope is knackered! The damn thing doesn't seem to adjust at all. Time to see how good Deben are.. Bought the scope around five years ago and haven't got the receipt!
Seated past the base of the ogive i bet!
    Thanks for looking

Single most useful tip for reloading hornet is to chamfer the case mouth during your prep. This will prevent case crumples.

There are a couple of really good in detail vids on YouTube
And in one he uses a Philips screw driver to taper the case for a fb head

Yeah I've seen that one, I'd as soon spend a tenner and get a proper expanding die to be honest, repeatability being everything in reloading and all! Though to be honest a descent chamfer and flat base bullets tend to go in fine.
    Thanks for looking
