i have a mildot scope already and never use the mildots so i think i'd prefer to go for a normal cross such as the 40 or 60, i'll have to look through them to decide, is the 40 very thick?

Uttings are quoting a mere £1569 for one now, I paid about £1300 a few months ago

Try The Sportsman gun centre I think they still have some stock at old price (£1,299) if not you will do well to get one under £1,500
