    It always surprises me how many times there's an item in sales that seems to be exactly what someone in wanted is after

    Don't people look, or is it that seeing the other ad triggers the decision to buy/sell ?

    I do hate people who can't be bothered to reply when you answer a wanted ad, which unfortunately seems to be most of them.

    Yes, I would too.

    One very simple way to avoid that in any ad post is to specify:

    "Telephone replies only"
    P1V1overT1=P2V2overT2

    I've seen that myself. Even though I can't bring myself to sell anything, I still look in the wanted adds. My bbs diet is.

    Non airgun
    General airgun
    Wanted/swaps
    Sales
    Collectors once every week or so, Normally in that order.
