Top made scope but I could never get on with the reticle.
Not a fan of Hawke scopes personally, I doubt their scopes are the same price today as they were in 2014. Everything has gone up since then and the new model has features the old did not so I would expect the price to increase.
Anyway for any one interested I have looked through these scopes and the image was very clear and bright, they had one on the range at The Game Fair.

I'm a fan of both as the glass seems a very close match.
My point is/was that the original "lite" was a very good spec, at a very good price, with no un-necessary frills, both my Rapids wear them.
This new version may well have the same name but it's not following the same philosophy.
Still it's only my view.
I wonder how good these MTC's will prove to be - the last lot were perhaps cleverly marketed but overrated. I realise the Mamba Lite has a loyal following but I can only speak of the Mamba 4-16x50AO IR - very sensitive to eye position with annoying whiteout and turret dials stiff and undefined with barely felt clicks. Glass isn't too bad but I think Nikon & Vortex are markedly superior for similar money. Also had a Connect 3-12 x 24 but found SCB2 reticule ridiculously complex. Chose plain 'German ret' for the Mamba.
i am fortunate that most of my MTC scopes were bought when Gary & Sammie Cooper ran MTC scopes,
a great company when they qwned it !!!!!, i mostly have the mamba lites fitted in both 3x12 & 4x16
these are excellent for use with my NV gear. i will wait and see what these new scopes are like
Customer Service is no where as good as the Coopers provided!!!!!
i hope both Gary & Sammie are doing well??!!

Nigel Allan and Giles have done reviews on them already.
The glass is said to be better too.
I have 3 of the old lite
s,and found their glass to be good.
Only thing i found with the old lites the finnish easily marked..
The reviews said they will have the SCB2 reticle which i love..
