Hi l am not so sure that it is a prototype LJ pistol. just my oppinion. it will be interesting to hear what other collectors think.

strange another forum member who is making a reproduction describes it as a "fantastic find in the historical sense" and Holts describe it as a missing protype

As far as I am aware this is not a prototype. But a Lincoln Jeffries Scout air pistol.

Jimmy Dee airguns wrote a post about these pistols I am sure.

Actually I just looked up the article and the scout had a push barrel.

So either this is a prototype with scout grips or it is......no idea

looks like it has the scout grip and trigger but the upper body is different.....Very interesting.

Well it looks like it could be a LJ prototype, now there are pattent drawings for it. as to value l have not a clue. could be quite a lot to the right buyer if right.
