can i offer a cheaper alt?? - i bought a childs bike inner tube (forget the size) from halfords and cut myself a few bands - not only covers the filler probe hole but double up as an anchor point for scrim i sometimes wrap my rifle in when hunting!! (plus i still got about a foot of innertube left)

Lightning22's Filler Plugs & Probe Covers are precision engineered masterpieces.
i made my own a while back ..
filler plug
although i made a 2nd one a little longer, and i rounded off the end to make it look like a .22 bullet

Got to say I'm another fan of Lightning22's filler plugs - I bought a really nice-looking brass one a while back and now I wouldn't be without it.
