    My older .177 HW35 Freimark is down around 6 fpe and is very smooth and extremely accurate at appropriate ranges. It is a joy to shoot.
    I also have one in .22 and shooting 12fpe that is pretty jumpy in comparison.
    I can't see any advantage to .22 in a low powered gun.
