    Well, I quite like my Gamo CFX for the money. But it did need quite a bit of internal work - new piston seal and steel weight, and a new guide that actualll supported the spring, piston sleave, and a new spring. And a new barrel as the old one was iffy. And new trigger to get two stages. And a new muzzle lockup. But it is now really quite accurate, light, and nice to shoot

    I also think the CF20 (if you get one that aligns) are quite good VFM.
    Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

    My post was a fraction tougue in cheek, but essentially accurate - as is the gun - now
