    No it was beech. I actually had a look during viewing for some other lots. It was well looked after but defo not walnut. I had an se90 deluxe in walnut back in the 90s and this was not walnut.

    I need to go back to spec savers ldgrin.
    The wood on that gun seems a bit lighter ,but that could also be the flash from the camera.
    Still a nice gun for some one..

    Fairly sure the auction one is walnut, These guns mainly had very plain walnut but were always the same lighter creamy colour (At least the ones i've seen were!), The one I was going to buy was identical, The chap wanted £250 for it but I was happy once I found the darker stained beech one!!

    I agree, based upon the pictures the wood looks like walnut to me as well.
