    Haha! Nice one!

    So, Airgun World, then?

Sharing the same, hallowed pages as Terry and Jim; as I say, a dream come true.

And Yep...I dodged the rain too.......until we were locking the gates at work and got absolutely drenched...second time in two days!!

So, now just 12 sleeps to go.

Quite astounding really...When Mick announces a date and it seems ages off, like it'll never happen. Then, with about three or four weeks to go you realise that it's looming fast and then the fantastic weekend arrives, we all have a great time, but finishes oh too soon. There's never an anti-climax feeling, and when a Bash draws to a close, it's always mixed emotions....Happy as you've had a great time and met up with fine friends old and new, the event a huge success. But sad, as there's now a gap in your life until the next one.

Get them cheques in peeps...as I say, hesitate and, before you know it, the event will have passed you by, and it's far too special an event to miss out on.

    Oh, and

    THE EVENT

    5th/6th September 2015 Boinger Bash

This will just be a weekend of chatting about guns, shooting, eating, drinking and getting to meet folks.

    THE PRICE

£20 including camping over the full weekend (3 nights or more if required)

Part of this payment is for me to insure on the field so that folks without their own shooting insurance can attend.

    THE VENUE

    Higham Fields Farm
    Higham Fields Lane,
    Higham on the hill,
    Nuneaton,
    Warwickshire.
    CV13 6ET

    HOW IT WORKS

As the payment system I sorted out with our very own Mr Jim Tyler (BTDT) --- Lord of the Springs, worked so well the last 6 times we'll do the same again this time.

    1) Anybody who would like to attend simply sends a cheque for £20 made payable to M Furniss (me) to my work address above
On the back of the cheque write your username, Forum, nearest postal town and the word "camping" if doing so.

    2) I hang on to the cheques until we reach the minimum break even point for portaloos, insurance etc before banking them.

    3) I will be scanning the cheques before banking them, so in the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, can bank transfer your money back into your account.

    4) As cheques come in I will post your username/Forum/Postal town up on here with your cheques status ---received/Banked.

I will not be organising a licensed bar on site but as your cars will be accessible inside the site I suggest you bring your own.

And as always I've booked Crazy Kev to do the catering over the weekend.

Targets will be a load of Spinners, Bell targets and the Quigley Bucket out at 75 yards.

If there are any questions please ask on this thread and I will answer them here to save repetition.

Thank you once again to Jim

    All the best Mick

    Watch him, Paul.

He'll be slipping you a KitKat if you're not careful!!

Seriously, though, The Captain boasts the most upper class mobile residence present at The Bash. Had a brief encounter there a few weeks ago; very, very nice and he's a seasoned Boingerman and is well placed to advise on any, er, needs!!

Hopefully, Mick and Kev will decide that there's sufficient interest for Kev to attend....truly scrumptious food. All day sausage and bacon baps and hot and cold drinks. I think full breakfasts, if required, in the mornings. And Kev's absolutely wonderful Hog Roast cobs on the Saturday evening.....nom, nom, nom...truly special.

Only avoided mentioning it coz I thought it may contravene 'advertising' thingy's. It's Woodys of Wembley. They've been there over 40 years - family biz. I bought a Webley Tempest there over 30 years ago. You can just go in and chat all day if they're not too busy.
